A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

"T.I.M & T.E.D's Wacky Warehouse Weekend" was created over 48 hours during the Montreal Game Jam, which is a part of the worldwide Global Game Jam. This was my third experience participating in a game jam; however, this time I was in a much smaller team: working with only one other student. Due to this, we had to carefully manage our project and ensure we kept its scope limited in order to still produce a fun product.

This game was inspired by the game jam's theme of "Transmission". In this puzzle game, you will switch between playing as two distinct robots separated by a floor in between. The goal is to maneuver each robot through the boxes that stand in their way, such that they both reach the exit door. However, neither robot is very agile, so you will need to make use of their distinct box-moving capabilities. The robot on the top of the screen can send boxes downwards by standing on top of them, dropping them through the floor one at a time. On the other hand, the robot on the bottom side of the screen can send boxes upwards by standing next to them, flipping the top box of a stack through the ceiling.

Working on this project was a great learning experience, and was quite different from previous game jams I participated in. The fact that I was working with only one other student meant we had to be very organized, properly dividing our work to maximize our efforts. In addition, a small team meant we both had to work on everything, rather than simply specializing. Because of this, I ended up working on game aspects that I normally do not, such as the creation of all the art and models. It was also my first time working on a puzzle game, which made for a great challenge when designing levels. Therefore, I am quite proud with my efforts designing all 8 levels for the game.
